One of my favourite places in Helsinki is the National Library of Finland, also known as university’s main library to some. It’s designed C.L.Engel in 1836 and built in 1840-45. It’s typical empire and neo-classism style.
Visited Museum of Finnish Architecture today. They’ve one permanent exhibition “Decades of Finnish Architecture” plus two other exhibitions: “Castles in the Sky – Discarded Design” and “Unbuilt Helsinki” curated by Åbäke & Nene Tsuboi.
