Sibelius Monument pt.1

Some say that you can hear music when wind blows hard by standing close to the pipes of Sibelius Monument.

Jean Sibelius is a Finnish composer. He’s probably most famous and loved pieces are Finlandia, Valse Triste, Violin Concerto (-sigh-) and Karelia Suite.

And now I tell you a secret (yes, in the internet). I’ve never much liked the monument. Area is usually crowed with tourists and I feel like telling to their Helsinki guides that there is so much more cooler things to see in this city than this usual stuff. — But I think I started to find new found respect and appreciation to the monument when photographing it and seen it from different angle…
